Here at Genuinely You we believe that every business has the power to change lives.
To make life better for our customers, teams and their families by the work we do, and how we do it (the rest of our website explains how we do that).
And also to make life better for people we may never meet, and in places we may never travel to.
We’ve even produced a book to make doing these things even easier for you.
You can grab a copy as a gift below.
The more businesses that are engaged in B1G1 the greater the positive impact. The B1G1 helps businesses like ours give back in powerful new ways and do so much more for the world around us.

I know you'll be so pleasantly surprised by what you find. And if you do choose to join B1G1, please use my unique code BM14177 so we can track the impact we create together,
But we don’t want to stop there.
We want to incorporate even greater purpose and meaning into what we do together. And we want to play our part in helping to make the world a better place for us all by achieving the UN Global Goals for humanity.
So that, together, we can end global poverty.
And that’s why we’ve partnered with the B1G1 Global Giving Movement to make you a big promise…

Genuinely You is committed to supporting B1G1 in its goal to make the world a better place for everyone.
We do it in several ways:
Project 1:
Project Description
Provide an underprivileged child in Tanzania with access to life-saving water for a day. Safe drinking water is not readily available in poverty-stricken areas. A new 28-40m rope pump enables safe water to be extracted from the well more easily and is less strenuous for women and children. A concrete sanitary seal also ensures safe deeper water is protected from potentially polluted shallow aquifers. Improve the health of a child and provide employment to local contractors by being part of this mission to install quality water points for rural communities in Tanzania.
Project 2:
Project Description
Help in setting up plantations within the village area to increase the forest cover. A group of users from the respective villages will make contributions to clear the land. Your support will help to cover costs towards pit digging, plantations and weeding in the initial phases, as well as provide the saplings and cover transportation costs. Once the plants are grown fully into trees, the user groups will have rights to use it to meet their fuel and fodder demands on a sustainable basis.
Project 3:
Project Description
Give illiterate adolescent Dalit girls access to literacy education. These girls come from the poorest families, are aged between 13 to 19 years old and belong to the group of the Dalit or the Untouchables, a repressed group in India. They have been taken out of the education system to help work on the land, or in other ways earn money for their family. Learning to read and write will open up many opportunities in their life. Your help provides the wages of a teacher, provision of teaching materials and upkeep of the literacy centre to support these girls.
The projects are fully vetted and monitored to ensure they are well run and any donations are put to good use.
And to prove these aren’t empty promises, we’ve also partnered with B1G1 to go public with this independently verified real-time Impact Scorecard measuring our positive impact on the world.
With the data analysed by project. By location. And by UN Global Goal.
Before we started doing all of this this we felt a little sad. A little guilty. And a little powerless.
But now we feel empowered. Positive. Engaged. Purposeful. Happy. Hopeful. Excited. And joyful.
Very joyful.
There is still much more to be done, of course. But we are on our way to creating a better world.
Playing our part.
To help, we’ve teamed up with Steve Pipe (who you met in the video above) to produce a step-by-step guide for how you too can become a Business for Good.
